Student Housing in Heaton, Newcastle

Heaton is very popular amongst students from Northumbria University, as it's only a short half-hour walk from the Sandyford Building - so you won't miss any of those early morning lectures. It takes just a short 15-minute bus ride to get to the city centre. Being slightly further out from the centre means Heaton student houses and flats may be more affordable than other areas, but still offer access to Newcastle's excellent nightlife.

Dubbed 'hip and trendy' on Location, Location, Location, Heaton has plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. Both Chillingham Road and Heaton Road boast a string of eateries, and there's the bonus of having plenty of places to choose from if you're vegetarian or vegan (Little Piece of Sky is a particularly big hit with students).

Heaton has a great mix of traditional houses suitable for big groups of students and modern apartments for a cosier student living experience.
