Student Houses and Flats in Gosforth, Newcastle

Found to the north of the city centre, Gosforth's location makes it a good choice for searching for student accommodation. It's slightly further away from Newcastle's vibrant centre, yet still close enough to enjoy it - and it's a 10-15-minute bus ride to both Newcastle University and Northumbria University campuses, making it suitable for students of both unis.

As the area is further away from the city centre, student accommodation in Gosforth is sometimes more affordable than in other student areas. Yet, there's still plenty of drinking haunts on your doorstep if you fancy real ale drinks, such as The Brandling Arms and The County.

Gosforth is only a 10-minute stroll from The Town Moor, which is a great big open space that's full of greenery. Plus, the area is close to Jesmond and Heaton, so you won't be too far from other student areas.
