Student Accommodation in Beeston, Nottingham

Looking for a student house in Beeston, Nottingham? We don't blame you. With an excellent selection of student housing available, Beeston is one of Nottingham's most popular student areas. Located to the north of the River Trent, the suburb offers a more residential lifestyle than the city centre and provides a great student experience.

Beeston's just a five-minute walk to the University of Nottingham campus, so it's no surprise student houses here are most sought-after by UoN students. It's also only a short bus journey to the city centre and close to the ever-popular student suburb of Lenton - so if you're making Beeston your base, you'll never be far from the action.

Ranked as the UK's 8th coolest neighbourhood in 2026, Beeston is home to a bunch of real ale pubs, trendy bars, and quirky independent eateries. The Star Inn is a particular favourite among students, alongside the Crown Inn, which is just next door. Yellow Wood Cafe is ideal for a midday study session, and this spot does some legendary homemade soup and an excellent cup of coffee.

The annual Beeston Carnival - a huge festival full of entertainment, street food vans and live music - is another big selling point of living here. There's also a film and music festival that runs yearly in the area, along with street fairs and crafts events, so there's always something to get involved with while you study.
