Life on Campus

The university’s main campus, Queensgate, is split in two by the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, featuring a balance of converted mill buildings and modern, purpose-built facilities. Over £250 million in funding has been dedicated in creating a first-rate campus for the students who flock from across the globe to study here. In the last decade, Huddersfield University has seen the opening of a Business School, an Innovation Centre, a Building for Law, the School of Music and a Student Central building!

There’s also a vibrant bar serving drinks at discount rates and a chilled-out café for a cheeky lunch date.

Talking of lunch, there’s always a delicious meal to devour or tasty treat to try at one of the campus’ many eateries. Fully loaded burritos and jacket potatoes are served fresh at the Burrito Cantina in the Harold Wilson building, while food from around the world can be sampled at the International Kitchen in the Student Central building.
