Student Accommodation in Mount Pleasant, Exeter

If you're in a group looking for a student house for three to seven people, Mount Pleasant is the place for you. This area has a wide range of big student houses, and its location makes it a convenient choice too.

Nestled between St Sidwells and Polsoe, Mount Pleasant is a highly popular location for University of Exeter students, and it's easy to see why. Within walking distance from Exeter's vibrant city centre, there's always plenty to do.

When it comes to local amenities, Mount Pleasant has its own fair share of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, all within walking distance. If you can't get a slot for an online delivery, there's always the Co-op food on Pennsylvania Road or the local Premier to top up on supplies.

Mount Pleasant is also home to St James' Park, which plays host to the local football team, Exeter City Football Club (also known as the Grecians). A couple of tickets to a game won't set you back too much, and it makes for a great day out.

At just a 20-minute walk to the University of Exeter's main campus, this location is perfectly positioned at the intersection of work and play. Spend a long summer's day soaking up the rays at a waterfront bar on Exeter Quay or get together with friends from your clubs and societies at the Students' Union without ever feeling like you've travelled too far. Got an early morning lecture? Not a problem, just hop on a bus from the stop outside Henry's Bar, or walk a mere 10-20 minutes to get to class on time.
