Situated around four miles north of Bristol, Patchway is a relaxed and quiet suburb, ideal for older students not wanting to be kept awake by parties on their doorstep. Whilst situated outside of the buzz of the city centre, you can still find a range of eateries and shops here, particularly on Rodway Road.

Patchway student houses tend to be more affordable than alternatives in vibrant hotspots like Clifton and Bishopston. However, you'll have a reasonable commute to the University of the West of England, just a 15-minute drive or around a 25-minute bus journey. The University of Bristol is further out, so you may want to consider nearer suburbs if you're studying here (unless you drive - it's only 25 minutes by car). When living in a Patchway student house, you'll also be relatively close to Filton, ideal if some of your uni mates are living here!
