Student Houses in Bishopston, Bristol

Bishopston has a large student population due to its array of indie shops, bars and restaurants. The district is minutes from Gloucester Road, which is renowned for its amenities, cafés and community vibe. The road stretches into Bristol's city centre and is perfect for those who like discovering something new. This makes it easy to check out your favourite eateries and then head into the city centre to check out the student social scene.

Options for student accommodation in Bishopston have great transport links. If you choose to live in the area, walking distance to the University of Bristol is around 40 minutes, but public transport will get you there in half the time. The area isn't within reasonable walking distance of the University of the West of England, but buses take only half an hour. UWE students who want to live closer would be best looking in Horfield or Fishponds.

Bishopston is a bit further away from the heart of the action in the city centre, so it's perfect if you want a bit of a quieter university experience. The area has plenty of green space dotted around, with St Andrews Park and Horfield Common only a 10-minute walk away.
