Student homes in Southdown, Bath

Student Accommodation in Southdown, Bath

If you're looking for a house based outside the city, then Southdown offers a slightly cheaper alternative. Due to the location, which is around half an hour from both universities, student houses in the neighbourhood tend to be more affordable.

It's only a 20-minute journey to both Bath Spa University and the University of Bath, so it's super simple to get to those early morning lectures. The main bus routes in the area make it possible to get to Bath's city centre in just under half an hour, and they are just a short distance from Oldfield train station.

Other neighbouring areas, such as Oldfield Park and Widcombe, are popular for students, so you'll have plenty to explore in the middle of the social scene.
