There’s so much choice when it comes to choosing a place to live while studying at Edinburgh Napier. At UniHomes, we’re committed to taking away the stress and panic that comes with house hunting, which is why we’ve handily brought all of our partner properties together on one singular website for easy browsing.
Merchiston campus itself is surrounded by the popular student areas of Marchmont and Bruntsfield, both of which are small, idyllic pockets of Edinburgh with a real community feel.
If you’re after Edinburgh Napier accommodation in either of these suburbs, you can expect to spend your mornings brunching in cafés and bakeries like the ever-popular The Birchwood, before whiling away the evening hours in one (or more!) of the many restaurants, pubs and bars that are scattered around.
Fountainbridge is also a popular spot for Edinburgh Napier student accommodation. The birthplace of Sean Connery, this up-and-coming area of Edinburgh has cemented itself as a film lover’s heaven, and every year, independent cinemas and theatres here play host to segments of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
All of these suburbs are fairly close to Edinburgh’s city centre (Edinburgh Napier’s Merchiston campus is only a 15-minute bus ride away from Edinburgh Waverley station), but if you fancy living somewhere even more central, then check out the New Town.
Edinburgh New Town accommodation is particularly unique in the fact that all of New Town is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site, so living here means that you’ll literally be sleeping in one of the most culturally significant places on the planet.
Aside from its historical importance, Edinburgh New Town also offers unlimited shopping experiences via high-street brands and the St James Quarter shopping centre. Restaurants, bars and speakeasies are aplenty as well, so you’ll never be lost for somewhere to grab a drink or a nibble. There’s even a chihuahua café round the corner from the Scott Monument on Frederick Street – talk about a memorable dining experience.
It doesn’t matter if you want to live in Broomhouse, closer to Edinburgh Napier’s Sighthill campus or around the Merchiston site nearer the city centre, UniHomes can help you find the perfect Edinburgh Napier University accommodation. We’ve worked together with our partner letting agents all over the Scottish capital to bring you a collection of the best student housing in Edinburgh, from 1-bedroom flats to spacious 5-bed homes
We’ve focused on making life all the more easier for you by ensuring that our uncapped bills packages are included in the price of your rent, meaning that all that’s left for you to do is use the filters at the top of the page to sort the results by university, location, number of bedrooms and price. Found somewhere you like? Click on the orange ‘enquire now’ button on any property page to send a viewing request off to the landlord, and we’ll do the rest. Search, secure, sorted!
